Dirtbike-traxs move forward into spring After completing our winter championship on schedule Dirtbike-traxs move forward into spring offering the riders an amazing array of new venues and a comprehensive event programme. Including the popular national putoline hare scramble championship with its mountain of prizes backed by the leading figures in the off road industry including a cool £1000 from leading off road oil manufacture putoline to the expert winner. As usual the dirtbike-traxs team offer a full selection of classes from youth to adult. Employing a regulated youth structure that delivers a proven race programme from 8 years old through to 16 years of age, with the more competent 14 year old plus riders able to ride in the adult sportsman class its no wonder the dirtbike-traxs youth scene is thriving and the newly formed links to the new youth MPS racing team will continue to ensure we are producing top quality youth riders which will in turn become the future of our sport. With the first of our new venues coming on stream on the weekend of the 14/15 march when all our hard work will come to fruition at the splendiferous bank top farm venue Terrington, at the time of writing we have 250 adult entries and 45 youth; this event will soon be full. 2 weeks later dirtbike-traxs will run the first of there practice days at woodhouse farm stokesley for those wishing to beat the credit crunch a days riding will cost a mere £20 if booked online www.dirtbike-traxs.com before the 20th march. In April we visit Ripror Rigg near Helmsley North Yorkshire for the first time, the mature virgin pine forest offers flowing trails. Wide fire breaks and a massive flat start area, the forest is surprisingly dry, and this forest is a bog free zone!!!. With another practice session at woodhouse over the weekend of the 19th of April were the riders can again enjoy another £20 per day credit crunch busting day on there bikes. In May we visit the iconic Gisburn one of the best hare scramble course’s in the uk, a Mecca for camping and good times, also during the month of May we will turn our attention away from hare scramble events while we under take the organization of the LLOYD GP OF BRITIAN FIM SPEA WORLD TRIALS CHAMPIONSHIP at our Nord Vue venue Carlisle.
